Five Aspects 2018 Poetry Competition

The Five Aspects 2018 Poetry Competition is open until December 31, 2018.

The competition comes from Five Aspects, a non-profit organisation that works with children and young people with emotional, behavioural disorders. Monies raised in the competition will be used to provide workshops and courses to disadvantaged children/families in the Blackpool area.

Theme: The Spirit of Childhood

Submit poems of up to 40 lines.

Entry Fee: £4 for the first poem, £3 each for two poems, or £7.50 each for 3 poems.

Prizes: £150, £75, £50. They will also award two prizes of £20 for poems of note from the following two categories: entries from poets aged 17-19 years; poems from poets in the Fylde area (postcodes starting FY).

The winners will also be invited to attend one of their 2019 workshops with children.
