Winchester Poetry Prize 2024 is open – with new ‘Kathryn Bevis Prize’ category
Theme: any subject and any form or style (must be written in English)
Length: no more than 40 lines, and written in English.
Prize: first prize is £1000.
The newly named ‘Kathryn Bevis Prize’ will celebrate the best poem written by a poet based in Hampshire, whilst recognising Kathryn Bevis as a significant poetic voice emerging from our county in recent years. The winner will receive a year’s worth of tuition from The Writing School alongside a cash prize of £150.
